It’s just radio waves. The commentary is trash as usual (but it’s most harmless, so ehhhh). Assuming the graphic isn’t entirely unrelated, the signal (~6MHz) is in the same range (HF) used by ham radio and various private/military sea/air communications, not FM (~100MHz, in the VHF range).
