WebMay 22, 2024 · I go to Fernald Nature Preserve at least once a week. It is a beautiful quiet place. You can see all types of wildlife. There are deer, groundhogs, ferrets and beavers. The bird watching is fantastic. The Audubon Society recommends it. The trails are fun to walk. However, this is not a place for pets. Dogs disturb the wildlife.
